Senior User Experience Designer Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating intuitive and user-friendly product experiences that meet the needs of our customers.

This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop integrated spend management tools. You will use your expertise in human-centred design and UX research to gain deep insights into customer needs, create solutions that address those needs, and ensure seamless execution across product teams.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be expected to lead by example, mentoring junior designers, and fostering a culture of innovation and creativity within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A portfolio of impactful work demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of human-centred design/user experience design, ability to facilitate design sprints, workshops, user research.
  • An ability to collaborate across teams and influence product decisions.
  • Clear articulation, ability to rationalise design decisions based on insights and backed by data.
  • Strong visual communication skills - sketching, storyboarding, customer journey mapping, building wireframes and working prototypes.
  • Passion for high-quality design execution, fit and finish.
  • A solid sense of ownership - you defend not just the design output but take responsibility for the product outcome.
  • Working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe CC, Zeplin.
