With experience building and maintaining various data engineering frameworks, you'll be a strong collaborator and advocate for empowering and enlightening others with the power of data.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the FOX Data platform engineering roadmap, aligning with product, engineering, platform, and data science teams.
  • Manage and elevate team members, building strong engagement and growing their careers.
  • Build partnerships with cross-functional teams for better collaboration with engineering, product, data science, and scrum masters.
  • Identify data needs for FOX business problems and implement data observability, ensuring quality, ETL completeness, and availability of data.
  • Build data products, features, tools, and frameworks that enable and empower data engineering and analytics teams across FOX.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of AWS Analytical Tech stack and services like Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.

Requirements

  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Expert knowledge of infrastructure as code services, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and Delta Lake technologies is a plus.
  • Certifications in Amazon Web Services are a huge plus.
