Audio Software Development Engineer Role: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design and implement audio components in the Android HAL layer (C++), as well as work on various other projects related to Android Audio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of audio components in Android HAL layer (C++)
- Design and implementation of Android Framework and Application (C++, Java)
- Test tool design and development, and unit testing
- Perform structured root-cause analysis on Audio defects and implement fixes
- Review design, implementation, and provide feedback
- Analyse and understand changes in Android Audio as Android versions change
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Working knowledge of Android Audio
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Understanding of RTOS & Other OS concepts, with working experience
- Experience in Design tools like Rhapsody/Visio
- OOP based implementation experience and understanding
- Embedded Hardware understanding, datasheet, schematics
- Experience with GIT
- Knowledge or work experience of Java programming
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-9 years of related experience
