This pivotal role involves building and nurturing positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed expectations:

  • Driving organisational excellence through the development, implementation and monitoring of governance policies and processes;
  • Ensuring adherence to organisational standards while fostering continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Collecting and publishing organisation-level metrics supporting internal audits and ensuring robust governance aligned with the product development lifecycle (PDLC);

Key Responsibilities

  1. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify, develop and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and governance processes across the organisation.
  2. Policy and Process Development: Create, document and maintain organisation-level policies and processes to ensure consistency, compliance and alignment with strategic objectives.
  3. Metrics Management: Collect, analyse and publish organisation-level metrics providing insights into performance, compliance and areas for improvement.
  4. Compliance and Standards Adherence: Ensure adherence to TCF and TOM standards, maintaining a robust governance framework that aligns with organisational goals.
  5. Internal Audit Support: Assist in conducting internal audits, providing necessary documentation, insights and recommendations to ensure compliance and process integrity.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align governance practices with business objectives and product lifecycle requirements.
  7. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks in governance processes and implement controls to mitigate them.

Required Skill Set

  • Product Lifecycle Governance: Strong understanding of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles and best practices.
  • PDLCKnowledge: Familiarity with the basics of the Product Development Lifecycle, including stages, deliverables and governance checkpoints.
  • Process Development and Optimization: Proven ability to document and implement policies and processes that drive organisational efficiency.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, analysing and interpreting data to produce meaningful metrics and reports.
  • Compliance and Standards Expertise: Knowledge of PDLC governance frameworks with experience ensuring adherence to these standards.
  • Audit Support: Experience assisting with internal audits and addressing findings.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and present governance-related insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
