Backend Lead Position

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Architect to lead our engineering team in designing, building, and scaling our messaging platforms.

This is a key role that requires strong technical leadership skills as well as hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of architecting and implementing high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and database optimization.

  • Lead the design and development of our SMS/WhatsApp API & campaign platforms.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure 99.9% uptime, security, and cost optimization of infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on roadmap planning, new feature implementation, and compliance (Meta, TRAI, RCS).
Requirements:
  • 8+ years in backend/API-heavy systems.
  • Strong coding skills in PHP/MySQL, plus exposure to Node.js/Go/Python.
  • Experience with high-scale messaging, API security, queues, load balancing.
  • Prior startup/leadership experience preferred.
  • Able to mentor and guide junior developers.
