Senior Editorial Project Lead

At our organization, we are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented professional to oversee the scientific manuscript review process.

This role will lead our Review and Peer Review Teams, ensuring rigorous scientific and editorial standards while driving efficiency and innovation.

  • Lead and manage the Review and Peer Review Teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the complete manuscript review workflow from submission to publication.
  • Identify inefficiencies and process bottlenecks; implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and reduce timelines.
  • Maintain the highest standards of scientific rigor, editorial excellence, and ethical publishing practices.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders (authors, reviewers, etc.) to ensure a seamless peer and editorial review process.
Requirements:
  • A Ph.D. in life sciences.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or scientific publishing with proven expertise in peer review and editorial workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing editorial or review teams.
