Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Location: PUNE/HYDERABAD

Type: Full-Time

Experience: 5+

  • Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Administration and Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and support Google Cloud Platform infrastructure services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using GCP monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).
  • Administer user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts.
  • Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for GCP services.
  • Configure and manage networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, Load Balancers, Firewalls) within GCP.
  • Automate operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for GCP operations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform administration and support.
  • Hands-on expertise with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub.
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
  • Understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPC peering).
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring).
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices, IAM, and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Terraform / Ansible / Deployment Manager.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes (GKE) and container management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
