Job Title: High-Performance Test Engineer

Job Description:

The role of a High-Performance Test Engineer is to create and execute performance tests for ERP applications.

  • Mandatory experience with Oracle ERP GL Module and Load Runner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution results analysis.
  • Provide updates on testing progress and lead a team of Performance Engineers to define test plans, tasks, schedules, and execution.
  • Partner with development teams to understand application changes and potential performance concerns.
  • Communicate and help remediate performance issues observed during testing.
  • Work with IT organization members to understand and achieve objectives.
  • Integrate performance tests in CI/CD pipeline and establish continuous build and test cycles.
  • Develop performance test engineering principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Provide input and direction on process and procedure improvements to mitigate risk and enhance performance engineering processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach QA staff on testing best practices.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of performance engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (Load Runner, Neoload).
  • ERP application performance testing experience.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret test results and identify potential performance issues.
  • Architectural background focused on mid-tier services, client front ends, and databases.
  • Proficient in understanding testing activities and approaches in Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies.
