As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines and transformation frameworks to support business intelligence capabilities.

  • Data Pipeline Development: Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (Spark) and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Data Transformation: Develop and optimize PySpark/Spark SQL jobs for large-scale batch and streaming data transformations.
  • Real-time Data Ingestion: Ingest data from various sources including Apache Kafka, REST APIs and RDBMS, ensuring real-time or near-real-time availability.
  • Data Modeling: Implement data modeling strategies for analytics consumption layers in Synapse or ADLS.
  • Automation: Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Workflow Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for performance, cost-efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline development, data transformation, and real-time data ingestion.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
