Design Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our MEPF design projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions that enhance the quality of life for occupants and meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage MEPF design projects from conceptualization to final implementation.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that meet project goals and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets, and milestones are met without compromising on quality.
  • Manage all stages of MEPF design, including detailed design, engineering, and documentations.
  • Provide real-time insights into project status, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Closing RFIs within 2 days and updating project tracker on a weekly basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BE | B. Tech or ME | M. Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in Plumbing, Firefighting, Storm water, and Sewage network design in large projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable IS Codes, National Building Code, NFPA, etc.
  • Experience in Revit is a must.
