Policy Research Associate OpportunityThis position involves conducting in-depth research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.About the Role

We invite applications for a Policy Research Associate based in Bhopal. The selected candidate will engage closely with state government institutions to support policy research, data analysis, and economic strategy design.

  • Conduct rigorous research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • Analyse large datasets and apply econometric/statistical techniques for policy insights.
  • Draft detailed policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Engage with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders.
  • Contribute to roundtables, workshops, and consultations on policy challenges.
  • Support project design, proposal development, research project management and internal capability building.
Qualification & Experience
  • A Master's, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputed institution.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics (Stata/R/Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and independently manage research projects.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Adherence to research timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced policy environment.
