About the JobThis is a full-time, on-site role that requires collaboration with insurance customers to elicit requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into detailed documentation. You must have experience delivering digital transformation solutions and understand the complexities of technical and user experience-driven scalable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Insurance Customers: Work directly with insurance customers to identify their business needs and develop effective solutions to drive growth and success.
- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications Documents (FSD): Create detailed documents that outline business requirements and functional specifications for digital transformation projects.
- Use JIRA to Manage User Stories: Utilize JIRA to create, manage, and maintain user stories and work breakdown structure for digital transformation projects.
- Work Closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA Teams: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and properly implemented.
- Create UML Diagrams: Develop UML diagrams (such as Use Case, Sequence, and Activity diagrams) to communicate requirements and workflows effectively.
- Conduct Workshops with Stakeholders: Lead workshops with stakeholders to identify functional and non-functional requirements for digital transformation projects.
- Map End-to-End Digital Buying Journeys: Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the buying process, validations, and rules for insurance customers.
- Ensure Alignment with Insurance Product Constructs: Align digital transformation solutions with insurance product constructs, rules, validations, and regulatory requirements.
- B.Tech/BE/MCA Degree: A degree in B.Tech/BE/MCA or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance domain.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, developers, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Digital Buying Journeys: Familiarity with digital buying journeys in the insurance sector, including customer onboarding and fulfillment.
- Strong Understanding of Insurance Products: A strong understanding of insurance products, constructs, rules, and validations.
- Ability to Test APIs: Ability to test APIs during the initial phase of requirements gathering.
- Working Knowledge of Tools: Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Lucid Charts, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Hands-on Experience Creating BRD, FSD, and User Stories: Hands-on experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications Documents (FSD), and user stories in JIRA.
- Ability to Create Detailed UML Diagrams: Ability to create detailed UML diagrams (Use Case, Sequence, Activity) for complex processes.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile teams and applying agile methodologies.
Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
