SAP Basis Migration Specialist

Experience: 3 to 7 years in the IT sector, preferably with a background in computer science or engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate SAP systems to cloud-based infrastructure using software products like SWPM export/import and DMO (SUM tool).
  • Evaluate customer landscapes to determine readiness for migration to cloud-based SAP systems.
  • Develop structured plans to ensure successful migration and delivery.
  • Provide recommendations to overcome technical blockers during the migration process.
  • Understand technical architecture and design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage backup strategies, patches, notes, and migration strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP system installation, upgrade, patching, OS/DB migration, performance optimization, and downtime reduction.
  • Administer SAP Basis and NetWeaver components.
  • Design and implement SAP infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Implement backup and recovery solutions for SAP systems.
  • Design high availability and disaster recovery architectures for SAP systems.
  • Implement upgrades, enhancement upgrades, security packs, and support packages for SAP systems.
  • Troubleshoot, configure, and test SAP systems.
