Citrix Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Citrix Solution Architect to join our organization. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
  • Integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services, to provide a comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solution.
  • Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments.
  • Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls, for virtual desktop environments.
  • Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience, monitoring and tuning resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth.
  • Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements, to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure and troubleshoot performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of experience as a Citrix Architect or similar role designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
  • Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
