Job Title: Head – Personal Loan

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head our Personal Loan vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing business strategies, product development, risk management, partnerships, and digital growth in the personal loan segment.

This role requires deep knowledge of unsecured lending, fintech innovations, customer acquisition, and credit policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Strategy & Growth:

    • Define business plans, growth roadmap, and product strategies.
    • Drive customer acquisition through digital channels, affiliates, partnerships, and co-lending collaborations.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within the portfolio.

  2. Product & Process Management:

    • Develop innovative personal loan products aligned with customer needs.
    • Optimize loan approval timelines, onboarding journeys, and digital lending processes.
    • Collaborate with technology teams to build seamless digital experiences.

  3. Risk & Credit Management:

    • Work closely with credit/risk teams to define policies, scorecards, and underwriting models.
    • Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency, and non-performing asset trends.
    • Implement robust fraud detection and collection strategies.

  4. Stakeholder & Team Leadership:

    • Lead and build a high-performing sales, product, and operations team.
    • Manage relationships with partners, fintech companies, credit bureaus, and lenders.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with regulators, auditors, and compliance teams.

  5. Financial & Regulatory Oversight:

    • Ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Pursue profitability through sustainable interest income, fees, and operational efficiency.
    • Regularly track key performance metrics, including disbursements, yields, and portfolio at risk/non-performing asset levels.
