Job Title: Cost Management Specialist

About the Role:

As a Cost Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects. This includes cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project scope to ensure alignment with design requirements
  • Validate technical specifications received from the design team
  • Optimize specifications without deviating from client needs
  • Verify Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and supporting documentation
  • Presentation of BOQs and solutions to stakeholders for approval
  • Checking of contractor invoices and final payments
  • Preparation of amendments
  • Validation of budget cost analysis based on benchmark pricing
  • Submission of different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual designs
  • Exploring new products and obtaining approvals
  • Proposing different optimization options in budgets
  • Meeting project deadlines without delays or overruns
  • Production of reports on cost analysis of projects as per stakeholder requirements
