Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new product designs ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to optimize design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
  • Apply knowledge of materials and material properties to create robust and efficient designs.
  • Lead the engineering bill of materials (BoM) and engineering change notice (ECN) management process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design preferably in the automotive or EV sector.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks including part modeling drafting assembly and system layouts.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
