Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our company as a Hardware Design Engineer.

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive the development of next-generation automotive audio systems.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop hardware architectures and select components for these systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including vehicle architecture, safety engineering, and purchasing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical expertise in recommending electronic audio components and experience working with automotive safety and quality standards.

You should also have a strong understanding of acoustics and audio measurement instruments.

In addition, you will collaborate with silicon vendors to drive design features and technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware architectures for next-generation automotive audio systems
  • Select and recommend electronic audio components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system development
  • Ensure compliance with automotive safety and quality standards
  • Work with silicon vendors to drive design features and technology roadmaps

Requirements:

  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural role
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment system, Audio system, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems and ECU design, development, and testing
  • Experience in Automotive ECU design, Audio standards, automotive testing and certification
  • Strong teamwork spirit, excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive area (OEM, TIER1, TIER2)
  • Understanding and knowledge of Board software/Bring up software, Audio DSP and MCUs
  • Knowledge of safety standards including ISO 26262, Euro NAP, and Security regulations would be a plus
