Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of client projects involves managing large qualitative and quantitative datasets to build strategic insights.
  • Interpreting market and industry trends identifies patterns, extracts insights, and highlights emerging opportunities.
  • Leading client and internal meetings effectively addresses client questions/queries using data and content expertise.
  • Understanding client needs delivers tailored, insight-driven solutions through proprietary tools, rigorous analysis, and customized reports or presentations.
  • Working with BCG case teams as part of BCG case engagements ensures client and case team satisfaction and timely project delivery.
  • Driving new ideas works independently with limited guidance. Collaborating with colleagues sustains and grows the program's membership base.

The role requires rapid learning and business knowledge development with strong opportunities for internal career progression.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Master's degree in an analytical or quantitative subject is required.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in benchmarking, research, or business analysis is essential.
  • Sector experience in financial services, consultancy, or market research preferably including retail banking experience is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced MS Office skills especially Excel (including pivot tables) and PowerPoint are necessary.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Python, Tableau, or PowerBI is helpful but not mandatory.
  • The ability to interrogate, interpret, evaluate, and model data to extract insights and answer clients' queries is crucial.

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Engaging presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to run client meetings, develop a deep understanding of client needs, and handle difficult client situations effectively are required.
  • Project management skills including time management and prioritization skills are necessary.
  • Data handling and confidentiality skills ensure accurate and simultaneous work on multiple assignments sometimes under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills demonstrate entrepreneurial, creative, and collaborative mindset ownership and initiative.
