Corporate Action Specialist

Description:

  • Analyze and process corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, and dividend payments.
  • Verify accuracy of financial records with clearinghouses and banks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in financial reports.
  • Analyze client instructions for corporate events.
  • Develop system enhancements to handle existing or new products and markets.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the corporate action process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as science, mathematics, or accounting.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Corporate Actions, preferably at a broker-dealer.
  • In-depth knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and Government Securities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
