  • Migrate legacy data warehousing and ETL processes to modern platforms like Snowflake and dbt.
  • Design, develop, and implement efficient, scalable, and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines within the new environment.
  • Optimize existing workflows for performance and cost-efficiency on the Snowflake platform.
  • Establish robust data quality, governance, and security standards within the new platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Develop best practices for data modeling, CI/CD, and version control.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the data engineering practice.

Key qualifications include:

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in migrating data platforms to cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Teradata, Informatica, and Snowflake.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL, programming languages like Python, and data transformation tools like dbt.
  • Experience with cloud services and setting up data ingestion from various sources.
