Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Validation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database engineering and be proficient in writing complex SQL queries, performing data profiling, and testing ETL processes.

The selected candidate will work closely with developers and data engineers to identify data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and functional issues. They will also collaborate on designing comprehensive testing plans and strategies for ETL workflows, data migrations, and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end testing of ETL workflows, data migrations, and reporting systems to ensure consistent data flow and user experience.
  • Develop advanced SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues and improve data quality.
  • Design and implement automated testing solutions to streamline the testing process.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with data profiling, data validation, and data migration testing.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to document issues and collaborate with teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Validation Specialist, ETL Tester, or similar role.
