As a high-performance computing professional, you will be responsible for designing and deploying infrastructure that meets business needs. This includes implementing AI, GPU, and middleware solutions. You will assess current infrastructure and plan for future growth.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Configuring and managing parallel file systems (PFS) and network file systems (NFS)
  • Installing and configuring libraries and compilers
  • Deploying and managing monitoring and observability tools
  • Network management and troubleshooting of InfiniBand, ROCE switches, UFM, NETQ, and other tools

You will also have expertise in:

  • Nvidia GPU management and Cuda toolkit support
  • Cloud infrastructure management on AWS and GCP
  • Cloud bursting techniques
  • Kubernetes installation and configuration

We are seeking an individual with the following skills:

  • Operating systems: Linux (RHEL, CentOS, SuSE)
  • Languages: C, C++, bash, Python
  • Schedulers and resource management: PBS, SLURM, Grid Engine, LSF
  • Cluster management: xCAT, Bright Cluster Manager, War wolf
  • Monitoring: Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, Gangalia
  • Compilers and libraries: GNU, Intel, OpenMPI, Cuda, MPI
  • Networking: InfiniBand/ROCE/UFM/Ethernet/DPU

Additionally, desirable skills include:

  • Parallel file systems: GPFS, Lustre, Weka, BeeGFS, VAST
  • Benchmarking tools: IOR, Lim pack
  • Nvidia stack: Nvidia AI Enterprise, RunAI
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of PFS like Lustre/GPFS/WEKA
  • Job scheduler installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Root cause analysis of cluster issues
  • Performance benchmarking of clusters
  • Basic knowledge of parallel programming – OpenMPI, MPI
  • Knowledge in GPU orchestration/MIG instance creation
  • Scripting and automation – bash, Perl, Python
  • Advanced Linux OS debugging skills
