Geospatial AI User Experience Designer

We are seeking a skilled Geospatial AI User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will own the design strategy and user experience of our platform, ensuring simplicity, trust, and impact for farmer-centric digital experiences.

This role requires 5–8 years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale. Proven experience shipping rural customer-facing or mass-market apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact is essential.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Figma / Adobe XD, and prototyping tools, as well as strong command of information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy. User research, usability testing, A/B testing, and iterative design practices are also required skills.

A clear communicator with ability to bridge gaps between design, product, engineering, and business stakeholders, this role involves advocating for user needs while balancing business and technical priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Own design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned to business and product goals.
• Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro.
• Define and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency.
• Partner with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.
• Conduct end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers, FPOs, and partners.
• Champion UX for rural contexts: vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation.
• Run design experiments (A/B testing, prototypes) and analyze outcomes to optimize key funnels (onboarding, engagement, transactions).
• Evaluate compliance with accessibility standards, data privacy guidelines, and local regulations in all user interfaces.
• Prepare demos, storyboards, and training material for cross-functional launches with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor interfaces, and evolving UX best practices to keep ahead.
• Report weekly on design progress, open issues, and risks; ensure alignment with Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale.

• Familiarity with AgTech user journeys, farmer-facing digital adoption, and rural UX patterns.
• Awareness of geospatial/AI-driven advisories, digital agriculture workfl ows, and trust-building for rural audiences.
