Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sanitation Manager to join our team at Abbott. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Cleaning and Sanitization program that meets the highest standards of GMP and hygiene compliance.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement a Cleaning and Sanitization program that ensures the highest standards of GMP and hygiene compliance in our manufacturing areas.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Cleaning and Sanitization initiatives to ensure Abbott Standards are met.
  • Drive and implement continuous improvements to enhance Manufacturing cleaning and sanitization practices in a cost-effective manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of Cleaning and Sanitization practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on Cleaning and Sanitization activities and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for Cleaning and Sanitization, including training and communication programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for Cleaning and Sanitization.
  • Identify and address any deviations from Cleaning and Sanitization procedures and take corrective action as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure Cleaning and Sanitization practices are meeting standards.
  • Educate and train employees on Cleaning and Sanitization procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to SOPs for Cleaning and Sanitization in manufacturing areas.

Requirements



  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, or Microbiology with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience or a Diploma with relevant equivalent experience.
  • Sound people management skills and ability to organize, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Knowledge of quality and food safety systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and internal customers.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide solutions to complex issues.
  • Decision-making skills to handle different problems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
