Senior Engineering Leader

Job Summary:

A unique opportunity to shape both the technical architecture and team culture as we establish our Bangalore technology hub.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead an engineering team (8-12 engineers) focused on developing AI-powered support experience.
  • Drive the technical design and implementation of LLM-based features within our case management system.
  • Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes for the new organization.
  • Lead the hiring and onboarding of software engineers, setting high standards for technical excellence.
  • Partner with global teams to ensure seamless integration of locally developed solutions with existing systems.
  • Own the technical implementation of automated case routing and response generation systems.
  • Guide the development of APIs and services that will consolidate our fragmented toolset.

Requirements:
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • 10+ years of engineering experience.
    • 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
    • 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
    • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
    • Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
    • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
