Job Overview

Purpose

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive product innovation and optimization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across US, Europe, and ROW markets.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, timelines, and ensure timely completion.
  • Formulation Development: Lead the formulation development for Solid and Liquid Dosage forms, guaranteeing API viability, safety, and compatibility.
  • Resource Management: Identify resource requirements and assimilate literature information for effective project execution.
  • R&D Planning: Develop R&D plans and experimental designs using QBD principles.
  • Lab Scale-up/ Optimization: Plan and coordinate lab scale up/optimization and pilot BE batches adhering to lab GMP system.
  • Tech Transfer: Review experiment notebooks and technology transfer documents.
  • Liaison Role: Liaise with technology transfer team/production team for seamless technology transfer.
  • Product Optimization: Optimize existing product performance by investigating API characteristics and finished products.
  • Stability Evaluation: Evaluate stability protocols, monitor stability studies, and interpret results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with project management, analytical development, supply chain team, clinical, regulatory, and IP department.
  • Documentation: Prepare new SOPs, manuals, and guidelines documents as required.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor IQ, OQ, and PQ activities of new machines and ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
  • Training and Development: Ensure proper training of subordinates, technicians, and housekeeping personnel.
  • Compliance and Quality: Maintain raw materials & finished goods storage and destruction. Participate in departmental audits and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites

  • Masters in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics)
  • Must-Have Skills: Formulation development experience of Solid & Liquid Oral; preferred to have Pellets project experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy: A Master's degree in Pharmaceutics is essential for this role.
  • Formulation Development Experience: Proven experience in formulation development for Solid and Liquid Dosage forms is mandatory.
  • Pellets Project Experience: Having experience with pellets projects is highly desirable.
