Senior Data Engineer with GCP, ETL

Greetings from our data engineering team

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join our organization in a full-time remote role.

This position is ideal for individuals with 4+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The selected candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing data ingestion, processing, and warehousing solutions using GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, or DataProc, BigQuery, Airflow/Composer, Python (preferred), and Java.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with on-premise and cloud-based systems. They should also possess intermediate-level understanding of data warehouse concepts and be proficient in scripting languages like Python and Java.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable data pipelines using GCP services
  • Implementing data ingestion and processing solutions using streaming and batch data ingestion techniques
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and analysis
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing data infrastructure and architecture
