About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned data professional to lead the development and implementation of our data platform. As a Senior Data Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data architectures using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Develop and implement data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, to optimize data for analytics and reporting.
  • Work with Azure services such as Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks to build comprehensive data solutions.
  • Implement and maintain data security best practices, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), managed identities, and Azure Key Vault.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with key Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Spark (PySpark, Scala).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling (dimensional modeling, etc.), and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • CI/CD: Experience with version control systems like Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using Azure DevOps.
