The Role

You will be a SDET II working as an integral part of the UI Platform team, assisting engineers in the development of our products. You will be a crucial influencer in increasing testing and automation for multiple aspects of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting the most complex problems and providing suggestions for their resolution
  • Extending the functionality of test frameworks to create new patterns of testing within existing frameworks

  • Continually improving team efficiency, personal skills, and team skills
  • Applying technology trends and industry innovations to our products

Requirements for Success

To succeed in this role, you will be required to develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using current and new frameworks. Additionally, you will implement other test tools based on your expertise, liaise with developers and architects, develop and maintain test sets, and create tools that simplify tasks. Your qualifications should include:

  • 4+ years of experience as a SDET working across the full tech stack
  • Experience with popular UI test frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience with public-facing and internal APIs using REST and software developed within a Micro-Service architecture
  • Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript
  • Experience with Java and JUnit 4-5 or related languages
  • Proficiency with Cypress or knowledge of Protractor/Selenium
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
  • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in building and maintaining test frameworks
  • Experience working in an Agile development, test, and deploy environment
  • Experience in deep-diving into logs, code, and other elements to understand and solve problems
  • Excitement about new technologies and a willingness to mentor and share knowledge with other engineers
