As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will lead our test automation initiatives and build platforms that improve the productivity of QA and development teams. You will design frameworks and tools that automate test case generation, documentation, and execution across web, mobile, and API layers for both Ecommerce and Health Tech platforms.

You will also mentor SDET-2 and SDET-1 engineers, establish quality best practices, and drive a culture of engineering excellence. This role is a blend of technical leadership, platform building, and quality ownership for Kapiva's diverse product ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
  • Proven experience in building test automation frameworks and platforms (web, mobile, API).
  • Strong experience in API automation (RestAssured, Pytest, Postman).
  • Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Prior experience mentoring/managing junior engineers in QA/automation.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
