Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for the UK and UAE headquarters.
    • Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production performance to identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct variance analysis, including material, labor, and overhead variances.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting:
      • Develop annual budgets for manufacturing operations, including capital expenditure planning.
      • Maintain financial models to support forecasting and long-term financial planning.
    • Inventory Optimization:
      • Implement inventory controls over receipts and physical verification.
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
      • Validate, approve, review, and manage collection and payment of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
    • Inter-Company Transactions:
      • Handle inter-company transactions, inter-company settlements, reconciliation with headquarter and subsidiaries.
  • Cost Control & Optimization:
    • Establish robust cost accounting systems and processes.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
    • Monitor and control manufacturing overhead costs.
  • Operational Support:
    • Collaborate with production teams to understand financial implications of manufacturing activities.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Audit Coordination:
    • Coordinate audit activities across all subsidiaries.
    • Ensure timely and complete submission of audit schedules and reports.
  • Banking & Treasury:
    • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of cash transactions.
    • Set up and process international payments to foreign vendors.
  • Statutory & Financial Reporting:
    • Liaise with external Auditor and ROC consultants.
    • Maintain Fixed Asset Register and verify capitalisations, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
