Payroll Trainee Job Description: The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate processing of region/client-specific timesheets by adhering to defined service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end checking of timesheets (Weekly, Fortnightly, and/or Monthly).
  • Maintaining the mailbox efficiently.
  • Thorough and vigilant checking of timesheets to ensure no data mistakes.
  • Zero tolerance for errors in saving timesheets and maintaining necessary Excel files.
  • Notifying the payroll team of special instructions.
  • Arranging and supporting backup for invoices to be delivered to clients.
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records accurately.
  • Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
  • Assisting the Payroll Supervisor with various reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably with some experience in payroll.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Excel and familiarity with payroll software.
