Lead Innovator in Product Development

We're seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead product innovation and R&D initiatives for the FMCG business in India and select international markets. This role demands a deep understanding of consumer needs, market trends, and strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation Strategy: Develop a long-term innovation roadmap that aligns with our brand vision and stays ahead of market trends.
  • R&D Leadership: Manage end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Team & Capability Building: Foster cross-functional teams, upskill R&D professionals, and provide ongoing support to meet evolving consumer needs.
  • Collaborations & Partnerships: Engage with academia, startups, suppliers, and industry partners to drive innovation.
  • Quality & Compliance: Oversee quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and ensure new products meet our high standards.
  • Consumer Orientation: Leverage deep insights and analytics to shape market-fit innovations that delight consumers.
  • Cost & Efficiency: Drive cost-effective development through advanced formulation, sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
  • IP Management: Secure trademarks, patents, and design rights as needed.

Preferred Background & Domain Expertise:

  • 15+ years in R&D/Innovation roles, preferably in Indian FMCG majors.
  • Proven track record of launching successful product lines and building new categories.
  • Expertise in consumer research, food science, process engineering, packaging innovation, and sustainability.
  • Advanced qualification (M.Tech/Ph.D.) in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field is preferred.
