We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President of Accounts to lead our finance team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    • Lead the Accounts team and oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS-Ind-AS/GAAP standards and applicable disclosures.
    • Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including ICFR, ITGS Audit, Companies Act, Banking regulations, Loan agreements, and covenants compliance, Shareholders agreements, Joint Development agreements, and evolving accounting standards.
  • Audit and Compliance Expertise:
    • Manage auditor relationships and ensure timely and accurate audit deliverables. Proactively engage with Auditors for Audit planning and execution to avoid any kind of issues during the Audit process.
    • Establish trust and reliability with Auditors and other stakeholders based on micro-planning and proactive approach.
    • Establish and refine internal controls (accounting and operational) over financial reporting, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance with ICFR frameworks.
  • Strategic Business Partnering:
    • Closely collaborate with CFO, SBU Heads, and Chairman's Office to execute and implement long-range plans (LRP) for business across verticals.
    • Track all lead indicators that ensure delivery of LRP and tracking project parameters in line with agreed targets and provide alerts on critical deviations if any.
    • Participate in fund raising for Group companies and drive all deliverables with respect to Auditors and Lead Bankers.
    • Lead Finance Due Diligence in case of new acquisitions of projects/businesses.
    • Continuously look for opportunities for optimisation of profitability and cashflows and bring up such initiatives.
  • MIS and Data Analysis:
    • Work towards integrating Management Information System (MIS) to enable real-time data for decision support and analytics based on GAP analysis.
    • Standardize reporting frameworks across functional areas to ensure consistency and transparency and reduce duplication of efforts.
  • Technology and Process Optimisation:
    • Play a significant role in the optimization of ERP systems (SAP), ensuring seamless integration of financial data across functions and system-based in-built controls.
    • Drive automation initiatives for critical finance processes, reducing manual intervention and increasing operational efficiency.
  • ESG Integration:
    • Support CFO to establish reporting framework for ESG reporting initiatives. Oversee data collection, validation, and reporting for ESG metrics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Provide strong leadership to Accounts team and enable them to excel in work as well as get cross-trained for other activities of the function.
