Job Summary:

  • This long-term contract remote opportunity requires a seasoned Cloud Accounting Specialist with extensive experience in designing and configuring cloud accounting platforms. The successful candidate will manage and maintain cloud accounting software, create and manage workflows, build and manage Chart of Accounts & Transaction Definitions, provide support for financial/accounting operations, troubleshoot system issues related to cloud accounting, and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business teams to resolve complex accounting issues
  2. Develop an in-depth understanding of accounting requirements for workflows, Transaction Definitions, and other cloud accounting configurations
  3. Work closely with development teams to fix technical issues and build new integrations
  4. Document business problems and requirements
  5. Research and implement technical solutions to meet customer needs
  6. Define project schedules, timelines, and deadlines
  7. Manage the entire development life cycle, track progress, and milestones
  8. Test and validate final products

Requirements:

">
  • 7+ years of experience with cloud accounting platforms
  • 5+ years in a cloud design, configuration, and implementation role
  • 8+ years in accounting specialist roles
  • Experience working with Enterprise applications - HR, ERP, CRM
  • Proficiency in integration development, platforms such as Tray.io, Zapier
  • Strong knowledge of financial operations, system troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Reporting & Analytics expertise
  • Software development skills
  • IT governance and project delivery experience
