Lead Data Specialist - Advanced Analytics

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end data initiatives (Business understanding, Data preparation, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment)
  • Develop and interpret complex data insights
  • Drawing strategic conclusions and recommendations for enhancing business processes
  • Supporting sales activities and collaborations
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of machine learning concepts and applications
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience working with SQL databases and vector databases
  • Experience with feature engineering, models evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment
  • Knowledge of DS/ML/CVGenAI/NLP libraries like NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and GenAI APIs i.e. OpenAI/Gemini
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with big data and distributed environments would be advantageous
  • Commercial experience in successful projects in Generative AI, NLP or Computer Vision would be beneficial
General:
  • Strong computer programming skills and familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
  • Expertise in Azure cloud resources and Databricks
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization
  • Strategic business acumen
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to address customer challenges
  • Leadership skills to manage small technical teams on projects

This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools. In addition, they should be proficient in Python, familiar with Linux environments, and have experience working with large datasets.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. They must also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
