Expert Mainframe CICS Administrator Wanted

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mainframe CICS Administrator to fill this key position.

  • Responsibilities include performing CICS systems programming and administration activities, including handling version upgrades, maintenance tasks using SMP/E, and managing CICS resources online/offline.
  • Key duties involve creating, configuring, and sunsetting CICS regions as required, modifying CICS configurations, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Candidates should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and provide support for z/OS Connect.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of CICS Systems Programming and experience with CICS upgrades and maintenance via SMP/E.
  • Expertise in z/OS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Endevor, CA7, ServiceNow, and z/OS Explorer is essential.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
