
Customer Service Operations Director

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a service desk, ensuring efficient handling of all support requests. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of managing customer-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily service desk operations to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage service desk ticketing systems and workflows for improved efficiency.
As a Service Desk Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of service desk professionals. You will need to set clear goals and performance standards, provide coaching and training, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a service desk or IT support role, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Proven experience managing a customer-facing service desk or IT support team.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
You should also have excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, as well as strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
