Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Façade Access Specialist to join our team in India. As a key member of our Façade Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing façade access advice and design expertise on challenging projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience working with façade access systems, integrating them into projects, and leading the design process to achieve optimal cost, aesthetic impact, and functionality.

You will be required to prepare façade access strategy reports, Employer's Requirements Documentation, and System Specifications at key stages of the project. Additionally, you will review contractor drawings, inspect site throughout the construction process, and ensure compliance to the spec, design intent, and relevant legislation.

This role involves managing multiple façade access consulting projects simultaneously and working directly with clients. You will also conduct research on industry trends and currently available technologies used in façade access.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in façade access systems, either within a consultancy or from a contractor's role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of façade access systems, their performance, and operation, as well as current engineering standards, practices, regulations, and legislation.
  • Relevant academic background and enthusiasm for façade access.
  • Competence in AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3D design software.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with the wider design team to integrate façade access systems into projects.
  2. Lead the design process to achieve optimal cost, aesthetic impact, and functionality.
  3. Prepare façade access strategy reports at key stages of the project.
  4. Review contractor drawings and inspect site throughout the construction process.
  5. Manage multiple façade access consulting projects simultaneously.
  6. Conduct research on industry trends and technologies used in façade access.
