Senior Business Analyst for SAP Data and Document Archiving

As a senior business analyst, you will lead complex end-to-end projects that cover all phases from planning to execution. Your goal is to design and implement efficient archiving solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Compliance: Ensure archiving solutions comply with legal and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOX, and industry-specific data retention mandates.
  2. Strategic Planning: Design and implement data and document archiving strategies that improve system performance and optimize database management.
  3. Tech Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP Archive Development Kit (ADK), SAP standard and custom archive objects, and archive job scheduling.
  4. SAP Knowledge: Good understanding of SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA, and the overall system architecture required to implement secure archiving solutions.
  5. Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical and functional issues related to archiving jobs, data access, and document retrieval.
  6. Project Management: Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  7. Documentation: Deliver end-user training, prepare detailed technical and functional documentation, and provide post-implementation support.
  8. Data Governance: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data archiving policies, retention rules, and lifecycle governance aligned with business needs.
  9. ILM Expertise: Strong command of SAP ILM components, including ILM Rules Framework and data archiving in SAP HANA and S/4HANA.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Data and Document Archiving.
  2. Expertise: Strong expertise in OpenText Archive Center and OpenText Core Archive implementations.
  3. Project Management: Proven experience in end-to-end project management for archiving solutions.
  4. Lifecycle Management: Deep understanding of SAP archive objects and data lifecycle management.
  5. ILM Knowledge: Working knowledge of SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management).
  6. BAS Administration: Familiarity with SAP BASIS administration and ABAP debugging is a plus.
  7. Compliance: Good understanding of compliance requirements like GDPR and data protection laws.
  8. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  9. Work Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  10. Outcome Focus: High on energy and focus to achieve outcomes.
