SAP Data Archival Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled SAP Data Archival Specialist to ensure the efficient and secure archival of data. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for server administration, divestment, software management, and SAP data archiving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Server Administration:
    • Add or remove access rights to file servers
    • Manage authorization to ensure compliance with organizational policies
  • Divestment:
    • Extract and transfer archived data to buyers
    • Develop quality documentation on maintenance activities
  • Software Management:
    • Install and update Enterprise Scan and WinViewer applications
    • Troubleshoot issues related to these applications
  • SAP Data Archiving:
    • Activate and deactivate archive infrastructure
    • Run catchup archiving for new archive objects
  • Reporting and Incident Management:
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies to provide status updates
    • Update work items in ADO board and team OneNote
    • Assess and handle incidents and tickets
Requirements/Deliverables:
  • Deliver incident and problem management solutions within SLA deadlines
  • Ensure successful and error-free SAP maintenance activities
  • Complete assigned ADO user stories prioritized by the Product Owner
  • Provide high-quality documentation on lessons learned and undocumented problem solutions
