Senior Systems Analyst

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in Retail Technology and POS applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of the POS application with our omni-channel systems.

About the Role:

">

This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, QA testers, and IT support staff. The successful candidate will analyze real/actual data for business reporting, project decision-making, and production issues troubleshooting.

">

Key Responsibilities:

">

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the POS application.

">

- Build business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and special projects.

">

- Ensure production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness for guest and employee profiles, transactions, etc.

">

- Build and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations, not limited to POS.

">

- Automate report generation in Power BI, Splunk, etc., to get meaningful KPIs.

">

Requirements:

">

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

">

- 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with a focus on POS applications.

">

- Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.

">

- Strong experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.

">

- Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

">

- Knowledge of POS hardware and software integration. XStore POS-related experience is a significant asset.

">
