Job Title: Electromechanical Engineer for Switchgear Design

We are seeking an experienced engineer with strong expertise in switchgear design.

About the Role:
  • Create detailed designs for enclosures, busbar supports, frames, and layouts for switchgear.
  • Develop 2D/3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Ensure designs comply with UL standards for switchgear.
  • Consider IP/NEMA ratings, thermal management, and safety requirements.
  • Interpret electrical schematics to ensure proper mechanical/electrical integration.
  • Collaborate with electrical designers to provide fully integrated solutions.
  • Address thermal management, mechanical strength, structural stability, and vibration.
  • Validate designs for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Lead assigned design tasks independently without step-by-step supervision.
  • Drive design reviews, resolve technical issues, and provide engineering inputs across project phases.
Requirements:
  • Pure switchgear knowledge and the ability to work independently.
  • Hands-on switchgear design experience is mandatory.
