Key Role: Mechanical Engineer for Automation and Design

Job Type: Full-time, 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

Location: Bangalore

A challenging role for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in automation and mechanical engineering components design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical engineering components and SPM systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to qualify new designs and achieve customer specifications.
  • Offer technical support and contribute to project completion.
  • Work on multiple phases or sub-tasks of projects with moderate complexity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of CAD platforms, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Experience in automation, electromechanical/mechatronics concepts, and related fields.
  • Understanding of customer requirements and proposing feasible ideas.
  • Well-versed in creating, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings and standards.
  • Knowledge of commercial items like bearings, motors, gearboxes, servomotors, sensors, and conveyors.
  • Familiarity with machining processes, heat treatment, engineering materials, surface treatment, EDM, EBM, and mechatronics.
  • Awareness of material handling equipment, limits fits, tolerances, GD&T, surface finish, and DFx concepts.
  • Robotic application knowledge is an added advantage.
