Accounting Associate Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, schedules, and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform ledger scrutiny and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Process and manage accounts payable (domestic & foreign payments) and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
  • Verify vouchers and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in monthly and year-end closing procedures, including expenses provision and accrual.
  • Maintain and update CWIP, fixed asset registers, support capitalization, depreciation runs, and physical verification.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and auditors for statutory and internal audits.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in SAP HANA.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP HANA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
