Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Chennai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Financial Management: Prepare and update financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Verify vendor bills and agreements, ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll processes, including PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax deposition.
  • Reporting: Draft and present accounting summaries and reports for management.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for payouts and reconciliations.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate MIS records and ensure error-free documentation.
