Backend Developer Lead

We are seeking a seasoned backend developer to lead our end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable Python-based applications.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting and implementing solutions using MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate React-based frontends and backend services.
  • Additionally, they will work with data platforms including Impala for high-performance querying and Autosys for job scheduling.

Mentorship and team management skills are essential as the selected candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 10–15 developers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

This position requires strong technical expertise in Python, MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization. Experience with React Framework and frontend-backend integration is also necessary.

A solid understanding of distributed systems and prior experience in the banking or financial services domain are mandatory for this role.

Key Requirements
  • At least 15 years of total experience and 10+ years of hands-on experience in advanced Python development and design patterns.
  • Strong experience in MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of React Framework and frontend-backend integration.
  • Familiarity with Impala, Autosys, and distributed systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing mid-sized engineering teams (10–15 members).
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is required.
