Job Title: Assistant Treasury Manager

The primary role of the Treasury Assistant Manager is to oversee and manage the organization's short-term liquidity, while providing key support to the Treasury Operations team.

  • Cash Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily cash management tasks, including monitoring cash balances, bank reporting, and maintaining accurate treasury dashboards.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: A key aspect of this role is to prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and conduct variance analysis between projected and actual cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Bank Relationship Management: The selected individual will be tasked with monitoring and managing the organization's bank relationships, ensuring seamless communication and effective collaboration with global counterparts.
  • Debt Schedule Management: This position requires the ability to oversee and manage the organization's debt schedule, guaranteeing timely fulfillment of all obligations.
  • Global Coordination: To ensure smooth operations, the successful candidate will collaborate with global teams and banks to reconcile and record activities, facilitating accurate and timely wire payments.
  • Account Reconciliation: One of the key responsibilities of this role is to perform bank reconciliations, maintain accurate account records, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Data Analysis: By working closely with the Finance and Operations teams, the Treasury Assistant Manager will gather data to inform cash forecasting decisions, facilitate banking transactions, and drive process improvements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Treasury Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar treasury or cash management function.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial and cash management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced computer software, particularly Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Process Improvement: Interest in process improvement initiatives, with a focus on identifying areas for enhancement and implementing efficient solutions.
