Unlocking Mining Excellence:

As a leading aluminium producer, we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Mine Planning team for Coal Mines. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business growth and commencing new mines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mining Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic plans that optimize mine productivity and resource utilization.
  • Detailed Project Reports (DPR): Lead the preparation of DPRs for mining blocks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and facilitating approvals.
  • Mining Plan Execution: Develop comprehensive Mining Plans to drive business growth, including pit optimization, scheduling, and exploration programme management.
  • Exploration Programme Management: Oversee exploration programmes, including in-fill drilling, to capture desired quality and quantity from the mine.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster effective relationships with statutory bodies, state, and central government authorities for clearances and approvals.
  • Data Insights: Provide valuable data inputs required for obtaining Forest and Environmental Clearance.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: A degree in Mining Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 60% throughout education.
  • Experience: At least 10+ years of experience in similar roles, preferably with leadership experience in mining approvals and operations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in project planning tools like MS Project, Primavera, MS Office, Auto-CAD, and documentation management.
